What is a Claim?
A claim is a request you make to the insurance company, asking
it to assess the situation and pay what your policy promises.
You must file a claim to alert the insurance company, and to be paid.
To File a Claim
You've had an accident. After you've taken care of any urgent medical needs, you need to file an insurance claim. To do this you need the following:
- Policy number
- Date and time of the accident
- Make, model and year of the vehicle involved in the accident
- Name, drivers license number of
both drivers
- Day-time and night-time phone numbers
How do you file a Claim?
